Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of the Service

DeedFlex is a digital software service providing immediate access to proprietary data, analysis, and tools upon subscription activation. As a digital service with instant access and delivery, all sales are generally considered final upon purchase. The policies below represent our voluntary commitment to customer satisfaction beyond what is legally required for digital goods and services.

2. Free Trial — Your Risk-Free Evaluation Period

We offer a 7-day free trial with full Pro-level access specifically so you can evaluate the Service before committing financially. No credit card or payment information is required. This trial period is your opportunity to determine whether DeedFlex meets your needs.

We strongly encourage all users to thoroughly evaluate the Service during the free trial. The trial serves as the primary risk-free evaluation mechanism, and subscription purchases are made with the understanding that you have had adequate opportunity to assess the Service.

The free trial is limited to one per individual, household, or organization. Circumventing this limitation through multiple accounts, false identities, or any other means constitutes fraud and will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

3. Refund Eligibility

Despite the digital nature of the Service, we offer a limited refund window as a gesture of good faith:

If you are a first-time paid subscriber, you may request a refund within 7 calendar days of your initial payment, provided:

3.2 Renewal Charges

Monthly and annual renewal charges are non-refundable. You are responsible for canceling your subscription before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. We send renewal reminders via email prior to each charge. Failure to cancel before the renewal date does not entitle you to a refund for the renewed period.

3.3 Annual Subscriptions

The 7-day refund window applies to the first annual payment. After the 7-day window closes, the annual subscription is non-refundable and non-prorated. You retain access for the full annual term. We recommend starting with a monthly plan if you are uncertain about long-term commitment.

4. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to the original payment method via our payment processor, LemonSqueezy (Paddle US Inc.). The actual appearance of the credit on your statement depends on your financial institution and may take an additional 5–10 business days.

Upon refund approval, your account is immediately downgraded to limited access. Any data exported, saved, or cached during the subscription period remains subject to our Terms of Service and may not be used commercially.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period. You retain full access until that date. No partial refunds or credits are issued for the remaining unused portion of any billing period. After the period expires, your account reverts to limited access and no further charges will be made.

We are committed to resolving all billing disputes directly and promptly. If you have a billing concern, please email us first. We respond within 24 hours on business days.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed with your bank or payment provider without first contacting DeedFlex:

We maintain detailed logs of account creation, login activity, feature usage, and data access. These records are available as evidence in any payment dispute.

8. Service Availability

DeedFlex targets high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance windows are communicated in advance when feasible. In the event of an extended, unplanned outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours (not caused by scheduled maintenance, force majeure, or third-party service failures), affected paid subscribers may request a service credit equal to the prorated value of the downtime period. Service credits are applied to future billing cycles only, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or refunds.

9. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' advance written notice (via email to the address on file) before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. Price decreases are applied automatically at the next billing cycle.

10. Currency, Taxes, and Fees

All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD). Applicable sales tax, VAT, GST, or other transaction taxes are determined and collected by our payment processor, LemonSqueezy, based on your billing jurisdiction. DeedFlex does not control tax calculations. In the event of a refund, applicable taxes originally charged will be included in the refund amount.

11. Abuse Prevention

We monitor for patterns of refund abuse, including but not limited to: repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles, creating multiple accounts to exploit the free trial or refund policy, using the refund window to extract data and then cancel, or filing chargebacks on legitimate charges. Users identified as engaging in abusive patterns will have their accounts permanently terminated, will be ineligible for future refunds, and may be blocked from creating new accounts.

12. Governing Terms

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of and subject to our Terms of Service. In the event of a conflict between this policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail. All disputes arising from this policy are subject to the arbitration and governing law provisions in our Terms of Service.
